Japans Beginners 1 (English spoken)

Konnichiwa, ogenkidesuka? Is Japanese really impossible to learn? Absolutely not! By the end of this beginner's course, you'll have mastered enough words and simple sentences to impress everyone around you. Japanese culture is also introduced along the way. Active participation from you is highly encouraged. Please expect to spend several hours on homework each week.

**This course is designed for beginners with no prior knowledge of Japanese. If you're unsure which course is right for you, please sign up for my level assessment. (Can you already read Hiragana easily, know some vocabulary, and know a little grammar? Do you think Beginner 1 is too easy and you might get a little bored? If you think your level is closer to Beginner 2, I can give you a mini-lesson during the level check. That way you can fill in some of the gaps and start at Beginner 2.)
